Frequently Asked Questions
Diveinside is a digital tool designed to empower K-12 schools in supporting student well-being, from a preventative and evidence-based approach. By providing real-time insights into students’ mental wellbeing, we help schools identify, measure, promote, and strengthen their students’ well-being. This enables the school to make informed, data-driven decisions that positively impact the well-being and development of every student.
Our check-ins are short, dynamic, and age-appropriate. The questions have been developed and supervised by our team of psychologists following evidence-based approaches.
We have created a simple and accessible format, designed to integrate seamlessly into the school routine, like a quick emotional check-in or journal, and in tune with how younger generations interact with technology. The goal is to give students a voice, allowing them to express themselves and reflect in a fun and simple way.
We recommend doing them on a regular basis, for example once a month, although the frequency can be adjusted according to the needs of the school.
We assess five key areas that influence students’ well-being, providing an overall track record that helps understand how students feel and identify potential needs for support or reinforcement. The areas we evaluate are:
- Family: Emotional support, communication, and stability at home.
- Social: Interpersonal relationships, sense of belonging, and social skills.
- Academic: School motivation, perception of learning, and academic pressure.
- Cognitive: Attention, problem-solving, and frustration management.
- Emotional: Emotional regulation, self-esteem, and self-concept.
Once students regularly complete our check-ins and the school obtains the results, we provide a library of resources and activities tailored to the areas of improvement that have been identified. These are adapted to the students’ age and educational level and are designed to be carried out individually or in groups during counseling hours.
We provide all the necessary materials and steps to follow, explaining each resource and activity in detail for easy implementation. This approach allows teachers to spend more quality time with the students, simplifying the preparation process and without adding extra workload.
Yes, we can offer workshops and training for both students and teachers, focusing on different topics of interest. These are delivered by our team of psychologists and professional partners.
The results are only accessible to the school administrators and authorized teaching staff. Only the people in charge of supporting and assessing student well-being will have access to this information, ensuring maximum confidentiality and security. These results can be viewed online, downloaded, or printed.
All data is handled anonymously and confidentially, in full compliance with current data protection regulations, including the GDPR. We do not collect any personally identifiable information from students. There’s no need for them to create an account or log into any platform, and all responses are completely anonymous.
